This site has been established to create a permanent record of the Nick Gould family tree.

Although most content pertains to the Barber, Gould, Hallett, John, Teague, Templar and Watkins names in England, many other names are referenced where a proven family connection exists.

Each location the family has visited or lived in has been researched to varying levels, with photographs and maps available where appropriate.

Census records have been indexed for many of the researched names; most pertain to family members only.

The site also contains a database of 1200 or so soldiers who were on board RMS Tintagel Castle and on their way to the Boer War. These soldiers would be missing from the 1901 census.

A further index is available for children admitted to Kingsbrompton National School 1881 - 1883.

Unless otherwise stated, all research has been conducted by the authors and referenced to source documentation. The site is a partial collection of the current research, other details will be added on a regular basis.

Any person who can either add to the research or benefit from research already carried out should contact research@nickgould.com.
